Auditions for ConVal’s Spring Musical Godspell, composed by Stephen Schwartz, will be held Tuesday, February 7, and Wednesday, February 8, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Chorus room.
Based on parables from the book of Matthew in the Bible, Schwartz — also well-known for his scores for the classic Pippin and the smash hit Wicked — features a wide variety of musical styles.
Combined with simple staging and a message of community, Godspell reminds us all how much one person can impact and influence another with tolerance, love, and compassion.
Students are asked to sign up on the drama board for a specific audition time. Copies of four pre-selected audition selections are also provided.
