Marony Selected May CTE Student Of The Month

Congratulations to senior Ethan Marony, who was selected as the May CTE Student of the Month.

Marony was nominated by his Digital Photo & Video instructor, Lance Levesque, who shared that “Ethan has been a photo/video teaching assistant and has participated as a member of the photo/video program advisory committee for the last two years. Ethan arrives at school each day at 7:15 and spends his time working or seeing what needs to be done for the day including checking in returned morning equipment. I would like to mention that this is not a requirement of his extended learning opportunity, but rather a sign of his dedication as a teaching assistant as he is only required to attend third block.”

“Ethan shows great patience when working with students and this peer support is vital to building up the new artists. He loves to be involved and support the whole of his classmates. He has a very calm, relaxed demeanor and a natural teaching technique and style. Ethan is highly respected by his peers due to his caring manner and the fact that he is very talented within all aspects of media arts.”

“Ethan is an effective communicator and storyteller. He has a full understanding of the three elements of photo/video production, pre-production, production and post-production. He is fluent in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere. He has a full understanding of the camera, lenses and lighting styles. He shares this knowledge with his peers and is one of the most effective teaching assistants I have worked with in my 22 years of teaching. Ethan graduates this year and this leaves some big shoes to fill, he will be missed by all.”

“I would like to nominate Ethan as the CTE student of the month as a thank you for all he has done for the photo/video students.” Congratulations, Ethan!
