On Sunday, April 2, the ConVal Music Department held a mattress fundraiser in the gym.
What sounds like an outlandish idea — bringing an entire mattress showroom into a school for a day to raise funds for student activities — proved to be highly successful with early estimates for a profit exceeding $6,000. The money raised will be used for scholarships for band and choir students.
The music department thanks the students who participated and the community for their support of this fundraiser.
