On Tuesday, ConVal’s National Honor Society students engaged in an all-day retreat with a focus on building effective leadership skills.
Doug Sutherland, a member of the ConVal School Board, was a guest facilitator and engaged students with a blend of discussion and active team bonding activities. Students participated in conversations about their personal leadership styles, the importance of trust, and communication skills as leaders.
Students ended the day with a session from ConVal’s student support counselors, Todd Bennett and Nikki Pike, who addressed with them the topic of wellness as student leaders.
