Fifth Block Classes: Block 5 registration forms are now available in the Main Office and School Counseling Office. Yearbook and Robotics will be offered this semester as Block 5 classes. Please see Mr. Reitnauer with any questions.
Today: October 11 is National Coming Out Day! Every year on National Coming Out Day, we celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) or as an ally. This year marks the 28th anniversary of National Coming Out Day. We are celebrating by wearing and selling rainbow pins which are available for $1.00 in front of the cafeteria during lunch. We encourage you to wear a button to show your support for LGBTQ+ Rights. National Coming Out Day is a day celebrating the anniversary of the National March on Washington for Gay and Lesbian Rights. There will be several signs around the building as well as a pride flag in the link. Today is a great day for LGBTQ+ people to come out, but please don’t out your friends.
Homecoming Weekend: We will kick off Homecoming Weekend with an Assembly at 1:20pm in the ConVal Gym. Please note the different class and TASC schedule that day.
Homecoming Dance: The Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 7:00 – 10:00 PM in the Cafeteria. Admission is $10.00 and the dance is semi-formal. If you plan to bring a non-ConVal guest please get a form in the Main Office and return it by Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
November Craft Fair: The Senior Class is looking for Clubs and Class Advisories to sell food at the November Craft Fair which will be held on November 19, 2016. This is a great fundraising opportunity! If you are interested please see a Senior Officer, Mr. Wozmak or Ms. Bernardi.
