Fifth Block Classes: Block 5 registration forms are now available in the Main Office and School Counseling Office. Yearbook and Robotics will be offered this semester as Block 5 classes. Please see Mr. Reitnauer with any questions.

TASC Talk: ConVal is pleased to welcome 13x Paralympic medalist Chris Waddell to ConVal High School on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 for a TASC talk in the LHT. After experiencing a ski accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down, Chris shares his journey along with his message, “it’s not what happens to you, it’s what you do with what happens to you”. Please book yourself to this event with your homeroom TASC teacher and teachers, please consider bringing your classes for this extraordinary opportunity. The Link: ConVal’s literary journal, The Link, is now accepting submissions for the fall issue.  We are accepting poetry, photographs, personal essays and any other form of writing or art that you can think of.  The theme for this issue is “new beginnings,” but all submissions are welcome.  If you would like the chance to get your work published in a section of the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, please share your work digitally with conval.link@gmail.com or give a USB drive, with your work on it, to Ms. Bastoni in Room 551.  The deadline for submission is October 10, 2016.  Staff and faculty are welcome to submit.

Homecoming Dance: The Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 7:00 – 10:00 PM in the Cafeteria.  Admission is $10.00 and the dance is semi-formal.  If you plan to bring a non-ConVal guest please get a form in the Main Office and return it by Wednesday, October 12, 2016.

November Craft Fair: The Senior Class is looking for Clubs and Class Advisories to sell food at the November Craft Fair which will be held on November 19, 2016. This is a great fundraising opportunity! If you are interested please see a Senior Officer, Mr. Wozmak or Ms. Bernardi.
