In Ms. Bastoni’s Photo 1 class, students select three photographers that inspires them. Then, they write a letter to one of the photographers, asking questions, seeking advice and sharing their common love of images. Tiffany Ellis wrote to Erin Paul Donovan of Scenic NH Photography. On Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, she received a letter back along with two calendars of Donovan’s work. “I was surprised that he wrote back. Those calendars are $13 each and he sent me two. I am astounded. I didn’t expect I would get a letter back. I’ve never written a letter like this before.”
