Students in Mrs. Grossi’s Education I and Child Growth and Development class work on the “marshmallow challenge.”
The marshmallow challenge is a team-building exercise where students work in groups to build a freestanding structure with a given set of materials: 20 pieces of spaghetti, 1 yard of tape, 1 yard of string, and 1 marshmallow.
Students have just 18 minutes to meet the challenge; the tallest structure wins.
