Public, Board Members Attend ATC Open House

On Sunday, February 16, the Region 14 Applied Technology Center held an Open House to showcase its Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The Region 14 ATC serves the school districts of ConVal, Jaffrey-Rindge, and Mascenic.

Students and their parents, members of the public — including New Hampshire’s Commissioner of Education Frank Edelblut —, ConVal School Board members, and district administrators visited classrooms in the areas of Business, Careers in Education, Computer Networking, Digital Photo & Video, Engineering, Firefighting & EMT training, Graphic Design, and Manufacturing.

Representatives from Keene State College and Nashua Community College were also on hand to explain the Dual Start program and the credits that a student can earn towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree through the existing articulation agreements with the Region 14 ATC.
