The start of school which, in the past, was marked by students reconnecting in packed hallways after the long summer break, felt a bit different this year at ConVal High School.
COVID health check protocols were conducted on everyone before they could enter the building. Signage reminded staff and students to remain 6 feet apart and to wear masks. Clearly marked one-way hallway traffic required the learning of new walking routes to get to the classroom.
But once the newness of the safety measures had worn off, teaching and learning resumed with the same vigor and joy that classes at ConVal had enjoyed before the pandemic. Please see the photos below for some scenes from today’s first day of school at ConVal High School.
