Seniors Celebrate Final Class With Traditional Clay Dunk

To mark the conclusion of their Ceramics studio class and their final year at ConVal High School, seniors participate in the annual clay dunk with teachers Karrie Mitschmyer and Ben Putnam.

The tradition is more than 16 years old and originally started with an idea by a group of students who wanted to make their last art class in their final year especially memorable. Since then, graduating seniors have kept up the ritual.

Also part of the tradition is for students to take a photo with the ceramics teachers, some of which you can see below.
