William Simard, a junior at ConVal Regional High School, continues his stellar post-season run.
On Saturday, October 28, Simard finished 12th overall at States with a time of 17:08. This earned him an individual bid to the Meet of Champions race, which was held on November 4 at Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH.
The Meet of Champions race brought together the top runners in New Hampshire from DI, DII, and DIII. At Meet of Champions, Simard ran a 15:33 – his fastest 5k time of the season.
He finished 6th overall and earned another individual bid, this time for the New England Interscholastic Cross Country Championships held on November 11 in Belfast, Maine, where he will be running against the top runners in New England.
