To practice vocabulary and grammar related to food and in order to learn about Hispanic cultures through traditional dishes, students is Señora Cesaria Reynoso’s class did a Platillo Hispano (Spanish food project) presentation as the culminating activity of Spanish I.
Students explained their foods and detailed the ingredients that were used in preparing them. The best part was that students not only learned about the cooking traditions and practices of Spanish-speaking countries but could sample and taste these exemplars of Hispanic cuisine was well!
