On November 17th, Spanish II & III students Skyped with ConVal alumna Shaina Maciejewski (Class of 2012).
Maciejewski graduated Magna Cum Laude in May from the University of New Hampshire with a dual major in Women’s Studies and International Affairs as well as minors in Sociology, Spanish, and History.
Employed as an Auxiliar de Conversación by the Ministerio de Cultura in Spain, she currently teaches English in Logroño, Spain. Maciejewski’s work is part of a year-long program that is sponsored by the Spanish government and provides a salary sufficient to live and travel around Europe.
Students asked questions pertinent to their studies as well as her education at UNH. Shaina told students about her travels to Poland, Belgium, Hungary and elsewhere.
