This morning, public speaker Chucky Rosa addressed a full school assembly at ConVal on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.
Rosa shared his personal story with students. He lost two sons to addiction and has since dedicated his life to raising awareness and to providing education on the issue of substance abuse.
Rosa’s hope is that, by hearing about his experience of loss, strength, and dedication, he may reach at least one person and save another family from experiencing what his family has gone through.
At the end of the assembly, Rosa asked students to join him in a pledge to stay clean and sober.
