This weekend, members of the ConVal girls and boys basketball teams again partnered with Monadnock at Home (MaH) to lend helping hands in operation “Helping Hoops,” an inter-generational community service program that was launched last year.
Student volunteers completed fall yard clean-ups at the residences of Monadnock at Home members. They raked leaves, stacked and moved firewood, picked up fallen tree limbs, and moved kayaks into storage.
The purpose of the Monadnock at Home program is to help senior citizens stay in their homes by assisting with seasonal chores. Congratulations to all student volunteers!
