SRI Collaborative Focuses On Reflective Practice

Fourteen ConVal educators recently invested four days in learning and practicing the knowledge, skills, and dispositions for engaging in conversations about teaching and learning.

Working with QED Foundation consultants Kari Thierer and Kim Carter, teachers and leaders each received and provided constructive feedback on their own teaching and learning practices.

They brought intention, purpose, and insight to discussions about how questions of equity impact teaching, learning and leadership in the ConVal district, and wrapped up their four days’ worth of work with plans to share their knowledge and skills with their colleagues and students, bringing action to their commitments to ensure that every student receives what they need to develop to their full academic and social potential.
