Students Attend Fire Fighting Training In Concord

The New Hampshire Fire Academy & EMS drill yard welcomed ConVal students under the supervision of instructors Cole, Gitchell, and Carney, to the obstacle course using the self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

Working their way through the maze, students gained proficiency moving around — under obscured vision conditions — through doors, diminished clearances, as well as over and under obstructions. During the exercise, students were working on communication and becoming more familiar with their air packs.

The New Hampshire Fire Academy & EMS campus in Corncord provides scenario-based trainings that cover a wide range of emergencies, including firefighter survival instruction, aircraft emergencies, and hazardous material response.
