As part of their heat energy unit, ConVal Physical Science students visited the Harris Center for Conservation Education in Hancock to learn about conductive and convective heat loss.
Students were guided through the building to inspect walls and windows and to measure the effectiveness of insulation. They also learned how to use infrared detectors and draft detectors to test for air leaks.
WMUR filmed the field trip for Chronicle. The episode will air on April 22 at 7:00pm on Channel 9.
