In Andria Johnson’s physical science classes, students are learning about wave types and wave properties.
Students in the 4th block class worked as a team to build a 5-meter long wave machine out of gumdrops, bamboo skewers, and duct tape.
Students got to experiment with the device to model wave properties such as amplitude, energy, speed, and frequency.
This was a super fun team-building and modeling activity, and the class truly rallied together to build, modify, and play with the wave generator.
