Congratulations to the recipients of the September Cougar CARES Awards!
Faculty and students can nominate one student each month for a Cougar CARES Award. The goal is to recognize and celebrate students who demonstrate the actions described in the ConVal C.A.R.E.S. (Community, Adaptability, Respect, Engagement, and/or Safety) behavior matrix.
The following students were recognized:
- Freshmen: Hadley Bates, Michael Gonzalez, Gavin Niemala, Adeline Regis, DJ Stevens
- Sophomores: Amanda Bergeron, Maddy Desrosiers, Koltin Gernat-Hemenway, Willow Middleton, Matty Palmer
- Juniors: Aiden Brissette, Francisco Jaimes, Alejandra Morales, Beau Olesky, Owen Palmer
- Seniors: Rylee Blanchette, Alex Olivo, Mary Quintanilha, Jada Stevens, Kendall Sullivan
As Principal Heather McKillop noted in her congratulatory speech, this month marked the first time where the majority of recipients were nominated by fellow students.
