The celebration of Halloween has a long history at ConVal and students and staff dressed up for the occasion again this year.
There were many imaginative costumes, including a road construction marker barrel and the Blues Brothers outfits that the administrative assistants wore as a group. German teacher Frau Concannon had a unique outfit.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Ann Forrest came dressed as “The Quarrelsome Q,” a character from Letterland, the reading program that has been implemented in Kindergarten and first grade.
The library also hosted a pumpkin carving contest which was won by Ashley Jones, now a three-peat champion of pumpkin carving!
