The Schnitzelfest New Hampshire is held annually in Hillsborough. Now in its 14th year, Schnitzelfest has entertained and successfully brought authentic German food, music, and culture to thousands of its guests.
The ConVal German Club has had a presence at Schnitzelfest for most of the last decade. This year’s group was “klein aber fein,” as German teacher Cindi Hodgdon put it. The students and teachers performed several traditional songs, such as “Mein Hut, der hat drei Ecken,” “Heut kommt der Hans zu mir,” and “Edelweiss” from the hit musical The Sound of Music.
