Theatre Arts Students Engage In Improvisations

Introduction to Theatre Arts and Theatre Arts Workshop students participate in “SlideShow,” an improvisation activity where participants create tableau imageries of improvised situations. “SlideShow” is part of the daily warm-up routines that open class.

Introduction to Theatre Arts is a production-based introductory course in which students learn and practice acting, directing, and technical theatre skills, along with learning about theatre history and engaging in script analysis. The Theatre Arts Workshop is a production-based class designed for students with an interest in exploring the process of creating and developing their own creative theatre work. Both classes culminate in a showcase as the touchstone experience.
