Voto Recognized As New Hampshire Scholars Champion

ConVal Dean of Faculty Michelle Voto was recognized as a New Hampshire Scholars Champion during a breakfast ceremony at the Manchester Country Club on December 5, 2018.

The “Breakfast of Champions: Celebrating School Business Partnership” event was hosted by the New Hampshire College & University Council. It brought together businesses, educators, and legislators to discuss emerging trends in workforce development.

The keynote address was given by the Amanda Grappone Osmer, CEO of Grappone Auto Group. Awards were presented by Dr. Patty Lynott, President, Southern New Hampshire University, and Tom Raffio, President/CEO, Northeast Delta Dental. Awards were presented to community leaders who exemplify outstanding business education partnerships and have a decisive impact on student success.

Nominated by ConVal High School, Michelle Voto was instrumental in developing a manufacturing program which has connected ConVal High School with several local manufacturers, including Graphicast, Millipore, New Hampshire Ball Bearing, and Hitchener.

Voto also has been instrumental in the partnership with Nashua Community College, through which NCC will be offering courses on the ConVal campus, starting in January 2019.
