8th Grade Orientation for Students and Parents brought a crowd into the ConVal Gymnasium on May 30.
Principal Gib West opened the event and stressed the importance of getting involved, as early as possible, in the many activities that the high school offers to its students. School Counseling Director Kim Chandler recommended to check in with the school nurses to ensure that all updated information is in the student’s file and to make first contact with the students’ school counselors.
Student speaker Lily Denehy stressed the importance of using this evening to start exploring the rich athletic program at ConVal and the many co-curricular offerings that ConVal has in store for students.
