At the end of Homecoming weekend, which saw all of ConVal’s athletics teams score victories, four individuals and two teams were inducted into the ConVal Athletics Hall of Fame during a ceremony in the Maguire Gymnasium.

In the words of ConVal Athletic Director Marks Swasey, “All ConVal teams brought their A games all weekend long!” No one could recall another homecoming weekend at ConVal where ALL athletic contests were won by the hosting teams.
As is tradition at ConVal High School, Homecoming Weekend 2016 kicked off with a Spirit Rally emceed by senior Michael Zrzavy.

On Friday, October 7, ConVal’s female and male a cappella ensembles — the Clef Hangers and the Morin Tunes — joined more than 180 other middle and high school students at the University of New Hampshire Manchester for a set of unique learning clinics.

Fifth Block Classes: Block 5 registration forms are now available in the Main Office and School Counseling Office.
In continuation of last year’s STEAM grant by the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, ConVal’s chemistry and photography classes worked together this week to make photograms in the darkroom and cyanotype T-shirts in the chemistry room.

The ConVal Regional High School Counseling Department has announced that sophomores Matthew Smith, Savannah Kersbergen, and Lindsey Carey were selected to represent ConVal at the 2017 Hugh O’Brian Leadership Conference in May.
Robin Croteau’s biology students work with Ken Cloutier’s science classes and John Benjamin of the Harris Center for Conservation Education to remove invasive plants from the ConVal High School campus.

A few weeks ago, over 30 ConVal High School students attended the New Hampshire Construction Career Days. This two-day event brought together high school students and representatives of the construction and transportation industries to explore career options through hands-on activities at the Hillsborough County Youth Foundation Center in New Boston.
