On Sunday, February 5, 2017, members of the New Hampshire Art Educators’ Association met in the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy to celebrate the artistic talents of New Hampshire students who had submitted work to be considered for this year’s Scholastic Arts Awards.

On Saturday, February 4, 2017, ConVal’s National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) Team A took first place in the 2017 Nor’easter Bowl that was held at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

Auditions for ConVal’s Spring Musical Godspell, composed by Stephen Schwartz, will be held Tuesday, February 7, and Wednesday, February 8, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Chorus room.
Students in Mrs. Gagnon’s psychology are engaged in “speed dating with the stars.”
The lesson has two parts. First, students must research an assigned prominent psychologist, from Hippocrates to Erik H.

The Student Support Team at ConVal hosted the eighth Student Recognition Breakfast on Friday, February 3, 2017.
Eighty-nine students were recognized for their positive contributions to the ConVal Community.

On Friday, the Region 14 ATC program finalized the installation of a new Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine in its Engineering Lab.
The Roland 540 was purchased with the aid of a Perkins grant.
Sister Juanita Durgin, RN, American Red Cross instructor for the combined ConVal and Conant High School Nurse Assistant Training Program, conducted the graduation ceremony in the ConVal cafeteria recently.
The Nurse Assistant Training Program includes theory and clinical components as well as two-year CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
